According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Miranda Bennett, 25, of Marlinton, appeared in court August 7 on a charge of manufacturing Schedule I and Schedule II narcotics. Bond was set at $10,000.

Brian Mason, 27, of Hillsboro, appeared in court August 7 on a charge of manufacturing Schedule I and Schedule II narcotics. Bond was set at $10,000.

Christopher Edward Danitz, age unavailable, of Slaty Fork, appeared in court August 4 on a charge of driving under the influence, second offense. Bond was set at $1,500.

James Andrew Richards, 38, of Marlinton, appeared in court August 9 on charges of assault, battery and public intoxication. Bond was set at $1,100.

Russell Sharp, age unavailable, of Marlinton, appeared in court August 4 on charges of destruction of property and two counts domestic assault. Bond was set at $700.

Willie F. Wilfong, 67, of Marlinton, appeared in court August 6 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000.

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Jack D. Cain, 58, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest August 6 to a charge of expired registration and certificate of title. He was assessed $550.50 in court costs and fines.
