Barracks are under construction at Camp Copperhead (F 17) located on Bird Run near Frost, W.Va. This Civilian Conservation Corps Camp was established in 1935. The Superintendents were John Gillis and D. J. Parsons. The project was under the supervision of the U. S. Forest Service. Camp Copperhead closed in October 1937.
