According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.
Steven L. Bennett, 35, of Marlinton, appeared in court April 4 on two counts violating a protective order. Bond was set at $1,000.
Thelda Lynn Shearer, age unavailable, of Buckeye, appeared in court March 31 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $500.
In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:
Justin Thomas Barb, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty March 31 to a charge of battery. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.
In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:
William Biggs, 39, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty March 27 to charges of speeding and driving while license suspended/revoked. He was assessed $450.50 in court costs and fines.
