LouEllen Green Phillips, age 84, of Marlinton, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital in Buckeye.
Born June 7, 1930, at Williams River, she was a daughter of the late Ebb and Clorie McCombs Green.
LouEllen was a retired buffing machine operator for Hanover Shoe Manufacturing Plant and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Phillips; a sister, Opal Buzzard; and a son-in-law, Darrell Friel.
She is survived by her husband, Claude F. Phillips; daughters, Sandra Friel, of Jacksonville, Florida, Barbara Goldizen, and husband, Fred, of Marlinton, Claudia Winn, and husband, Jay, of Elkins, and Cathy Smallridge, and husband, Tom, of Beverly; sons, Gary Phillips, of Claremore, Oklahoma, Steve Phillips, and wife, Dorothy, of Marlinton, and Claude F. Phillips, Jr., and wife, Anita, of Dry Branch; a sister, Juanita Warwick, of Marlinton; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was April 7 at the Marlinton Church of God with Rev. Fred Goldizen officiating. Interment was in the Cochran Cemetery in Onoto.
