The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a Winter Storm Warning for snow which is in effect from 11 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 26, through 4 a.m. Thursday, November 28.
The warning is for the mountainous counties of West Virginia.
Rain through this evening will change to snow late tonight.
Snow accumulation of six to 10 inches with higher amounts in the higher elevations.
Winds northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
Temperatures in the mid-30s, falling to the lower to mid-20s on Wednesday.
