Max Leroy Gum, age 88, of Mill Point, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Roanoke, Virginia.
Born November 24, 1932, at the David Little Ruckman Homestead near Mill Point, he was the youngest son of Charles Emery Gum and Rachel Wallace Ruckman.
A graveside service with military rites by the Pocahontas County Honor Corps will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Arbovale Cemetery, with Pastor David Fuller officiating.
