Keith Fulton Alderman, age 67, of Marlinton, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins following a battle with chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia.
Born October 10, 1952, at Marlinton, he was a son of the late Norman H. and Olive Friel Alderman.
Keith was a dedicated Christian and faithfully attended church all his life.
He was a 1972 graduate of Pocahontas County High School. He was owner of Alderman’s Excavating and Alderman’s Wood Service for more than 20 years. Before that, he worked for R&R Excavating, Mullen’s Trucking as a coal tractor trailer driver, Ricottilli Rustic Fence and other logging and sawmill companies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Chad Fulton Alderman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, his best friend, soulmate and high school sweetheart, Charlotte, whom he married June 30, 1974; his sons, Jody Alderman, Jason Alderman and Ryan Alderman, and wife, Kaitlyn, all of Marlinton; two grandchildren, Noah and Miley, who were his pride and joy; a brother, Norman Alderman, and wife, Carol, of Marlinton; a nephew, Lindell; a niece, LeAnna; and many, many friends.
Funeral service was held May 24 at Cochran Cemetery on Beaver Creek with Pastor Sam Felton officiating.
