William Nevin “Buster” Waybright, Jr., age 67, of Franklin, formerly of Boyer, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019, at his home, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Buster was a 1970 graduate of Green Bank High School and a 1974 graduate of Glenville State College. He worked for the Bank of Marlinton from 1974 to 1976 and then for Enviro Energy.

Buster loved to talk to people and was active in the community. He served on the Franklin Town Council. His love for antique cars led him to organize the Treasure Mountain Festival Antique Car, Truck, Tractor and Engine Show for 24 years – a show that has now appropriately been named after him. He enjoyed bowling and adored his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Waybright.
