Pauline Buzzard Gardner, age 93, of Clover Lick, died Saturday, November 9, 2019, at her home.
Born September 3, 1926, at Huntersville, she was a daughter of the late Rodney W. and Lucinda Alderman Buzzard.
Pauline was a homemaker, a member of the Farm Bureau and VFW Auxiliary and a supporter of the Boys Home in Covington, Virginia. She attended Grace Episcopal Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Cazanove Gardner; a son, Rodney William Gardner; sisters, Margie Buzzard, Vera Beahm and Lola Workman; and brothers, Waldo, Harlan, Hubert, Arnold, William and James Buzzard.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ann Gardner Mullenax; sons, Randolph Lee Gardner and Fredric Page Gardner; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.
Per her wishes, the body was cremated, and arrangements will be made at a later date.
