According to court records, the Pocahontas County Grand Jury, in its August Term, handed up indictments against the following individuals:
Arraignments will be held in these cases August 14 before the Honorable Judge Robert E. Richardson:
Dalton Cain, 19, of Marlinton – One Count, entry of a building other than a dwelling, a felony; One Count, grand larceny, a felony; One Count, destruction of property, a misdemeanor.
Sean G. Pennington, 25, of Marlinton – One Count, manufacture of a Schedule I controlled non-narcotic substance, a felony.
Derek S. Hannah, 32, of Marlinton – One Count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled non-narcotic substance, a felony; One Count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule II controlled narcotic substance, a felony; One Count, possession with intent to deliver a Schedule V controlled non-narcotic substance, a misdemeanor; One Count, illegal possession of explosive materials, a felony; One Count, person prohibited from possessing a firearm, a misdemeanor.
Charles R. Calhoun, 33, of Marlinton – One Count, wanton endangerment involving a firearm, a felony; two counts, domestic battery, a misdemeanor; One Count, destruction of property, a misdemeanor.
Arraignments will be held in the following cases August 21 before the Honorable Judge Jennifer P. Dent:
Joseph Tawney, 37, of Marlinton – One Count, burglary, a felony; One Count, entry of a building other than a dwelling, a felony; One Count, grand larceny, a felony; One Count, transferring stolen goods, a felony; One Count, transferring stolen goods, a misdemeanor.
Travis Rider, 32, of Marlinton – One Count, grand larceny, a felony.
Carrie L. Hickson, 41, of Cass – One Count, driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense, a felony; One Count, driving while revoked for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.
