Lady Warriors drop close match to James Monroe

In an a exciting see-saw battle Thursday evening in Dunmore, the PCHS Lady Warriors fell to the Lady Mavericks from James Monroe, 4-2.  The Lady Warriors scored first at 31:37 with a beautiful  kick by talented striker Brittany McMillion. The Lady Mavs evened it up a few minutes later, but the Lady Warriors regained the lead at 25:16 on a nice drive and kick by Kayleigh Arbogast. But the Lady Mavs responded at 19:08 with a goal to tie the match at 2-2, where it remained for the reminder of the half. In the second half, James Monroe drew first blood at 27:22 to take a 3-2 lead. The Lady Warriors kept the pressure on and had some chances, but could not find the net in the second half.
