Kathleen H. Keeler, age 94, of Buckeye, died Monday, July 21, 2014, at Pocahontas Center in Marlinton.
Born December 13, 1919, in Manhattan, New York, she was a daughter of the late Louis Bruno and Mary Duffy Handley.
Kay served on the Democrat Executive Committee and was a member of the Swago Home Demonstration Club. Early in her married life she worked in the food industry at resorts and high-end restaurants in New York and Florida. She was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Francis Keeler; brothers, John “Jack,” Louis B., Jerold “Jerry,” and Joseph “Joe” Handley.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Gordon, and husband, Ronald, of Buckeye; a son, John Keeler, of Anacortes, Washington; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is Saturday, July 26, 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Earl D. Michael officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
