Susie Mettler, age 17, of Perry, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at the Madison Medical Campus.
Born September 18, 1996, in Painesville, Ohio, she was a daughter of Chuck and Tina Mettler.
A 2014 graduate of Perry High School, Susie was a four year varsity softball player. She was an active member of 4-H with Livestock projects since the age of four. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was always able to make everyone laugh.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas Blair Oliver.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her twin sister, Jenny; a brother, Travis, and Jackie Russo; nephew, Judah; maternal grandmother, Toby Oliver; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Patricia Mettler, and Connie “Nana” Seese, and Bill.
Funeral service was July 9 at the Cornerstone Friends Church in Madison, Ohio. Interment was in Perry Cemetery. Memorials may be made to W.A.G.S. 4 Kids, 112 East Center Street, Berea, OH 44017.
