Leland T. Barrett, age 87, of Browns Mills, New Jersey, passed away December 12, 2013, at Aspen Hills, New Lisbon, New Jersey.
Leland was born at Spice. He joined the United States Army in 1950, served 20 years and retired to Browns Mills, New Jersey, in 1970. During his time in the service, in Germany, he met the love of his life, Kathe Wittwer.
Leland was a loyal Dodger fan since 1952.
In addition to his loving wife of 59 years, he is survived by a step-daughter, Elli Brimer, and husband, Robert, of Center Point, Alabama; a brother, Frank L. Barrett, and wife, Gladys, of Marlinton; and a large extended family.
