Larry Varney, age 75, of Golden, Colorado, formerly of Minnehaha Springs, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017, at the Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Reed Varney, Sr. and Winifred Madeline Wyer Varney; two brothers, Curtis Varney and Robert Varney; and a sister, Gail Pennington.
Larry is survived by a sister, Barbara Kelly, of Minnehaha Springs; and a brother, Lewis R. Varney, Jr., of Hot Springs, Virginia.
As per his request, the body was cremated, and his ashes will be returned to Minnehaha Springs.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
