Saundra Sue Wilfong, age 53, of Marlinton, died Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at her home.
Born February 4, 1963, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was a daughter of Carolyn Gibson Shafer, and the late Robert Palko.
Saundra was a nurse aide for a home health agency. She was a United States Army Veteran.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Wilfong.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John Wilfong; a daughter, Courtney Wilfong, of Marlinton; two sisters, Linda Moore, of Marlinton, and Pamela Shafer, of Atlanta, Georgia; and three grandchildren.
Per her request, the body was cremated and no service was held.
