Annette Irvine, 45, of Hillsboro, appeared in court September 1 on a charge of manufacturing/delivering/ possessing with intent to manufacture/deliver Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.
Ethel E. Payne, 42, of Marlinton, appeared in court August 31 on a charge of manufacturing/delivering/ possessing with intent to manufacture/deliver Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.
Jeremiah B. Powell, 34, of White Sulphur Springs, appeared in court September 1 on two counts of manufacturing/delivering/possessing with intent to manufacture/ deliver Schedule I, II or III controlled substance. Bond was set at $5,000.
Joshua Alan McClure, 36, of Marlinton, appeared in court September 2 on a charge of forging, uttering or attempting to employ as true, forged writing to the prejudice of another. Bond was set at $2,000.

Rebecca Dawn Epling, age unavailable, of Silver Spring, Maryland, was found guilty September 1 of a charge of speeding. She was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.
Danielle Paige LaPresta, 30, of Slaty Fork, pleaded guilty September 2 to a charge of speeding. She was assessed $190.25 in court costs and fines.
Charges of grand larceny and conspiracy to inflict injury to persons or property against Jeremy William Moore, were dismissed without prejudice August 31.
Danny R. Baldwin, age unavailable, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty August 31 to two counts of passing worthless checks. He was assessed $800.50 in court costs, fines and worthless check amounts.
