Stephen L. James, 38, of Roanoke, Virginia, appeared in court July 17 on charges of entry of building other than dwelling, manufacturing Schedule I and II narcotic, destruction of property and 577 counts of any person who, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, alters, forges, utters, passes or counterfeits. Bond was set at $50,000.
Robert Wayne Rakes, 35, of Roanoke, Virginia, appeared in court July 17 on charges of entry of building other than dwelling, manufacturing Schedule I and II narcotic, destruction of property and 577 counts of any person who, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, alters, forgers, utters, passes or counterfeits. Bond was set at $50,000.
In Magistrate Cynthia Broce Kelley’s court:
Derrick Edward Irvine, 33, of Arbovale, pleaded guilty July 13 to charges of no vehicle insurance and operating a vehicle with no evidence of registration. He was assessed $370.50 in court costs and fines.
In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:
William Joseph Gilmore, 43, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest July 14 to a charge of selling beer to an individual under the age of 21. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.
Caleb Christopher Baker, 23, of Slaty Fork, pleaded guilty July 12 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams of marijuana. He was assessed $215.25 in court costs and fines.
