Ruth Ann Burgess, age 71, of Hopewell, Virginia, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Snowden and Gladys Kershner; and two sisters, Faye Starks and Clara Gillispe.
She is survived by her loving husband of more than 40 years, William L. Burgess; a son, William B. Burgess; a daughter, Melissa Mckee; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Eileen Ash, Margaret Taylor and Grace Coleman.
Service will be private.
