PUBLIC NOTICE:
Emergency Department Entrance Changes at Pocahontas Memorial Hospital
Pocahontas Memorial Hospital would like to inform the community that beginning Monday, October 26, the Emergency Department entrance and patient registration area will be temporarily relocated as part of our ongoing Emergency Department expansion project.
The new entrance will be located behind the hospital at the first entrance off Duncan Road with a temporary carport. Directional signage will be posted to assist patients and visitors in accessing the Emergency Department.
These temporary changes will allow construction to begin on our new Emergency Department waiting room and walk-in entrance.
We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we continue making improvements to better serve our patients and community.
Our Emergency Department will remain open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
