Laura Jean Meyer passed away Friday, September 18, 2026.
Born October 2, 1963, in Marlinton, she was a daughter of Robert Lyle McKenney and Lois McMillion McKenney.
Laura enjoyed working in her yard and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Carpenter.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Margaret Hall (Kenneth); niece, Jan Dotson (David); great-nephews, Matthew and Adam Dotson; brother-in-law, Ronnie Carpenter; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her dog, Bella.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Edray United Church.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service.
