Lisa Marie Schnoor, 61, of Frost, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026.
Born January 28, 1965, in Maryland, she was a daughter of Dr. Edward Schnoor and Nancy Tipton.
Lisa graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in linguistics. She worked for the Summer Institute of Linguistics for a number of years before she became ill and unable to work.
Lisa enjoyed playing the piano and quilting and loved her dog, Pippa. She was most known for her joyous spirit despite her debilitating chronic Lyme’s disease and heavy metal toxicity.
She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her sisters and niece.
A small graveside service was held September 25, 2026 in Arbovale.
A memorial service will be held in the future in her hometown of Silver Spring, Maryland.
Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale was in charge of arrangements.
