According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals had activity in their case:

In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:

Darris Matthew Boswell, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest June 12 to a charge of overtaking and passing school bus. Boswell was assessed $681.48 in court costs and fines.

Derek Hannah, 39, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 8 to a charge of defective equipment. Hannah was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Portland R. King, 21, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 24 to a charge of no operator’s. King was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Ted R. King, 80, of Adairsville, Georgia, pleaded guilty June 8 to a charge of speeding. King was assessed $206.01 in court costs and fines.

Betty Jean McMillion, 34, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty June 29 to a charge of DUI, blood alcohol content .15 or more. McMillion was sentenced to two days jail and assessed $486.48 in court costs and fines.

Aiden L. Medina, 19, of Phoenix, Arizona, pleaded guilty June 24 to a charge of speeding. Medina was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

George Daniel Sims, 46, of Asbury, pleaded guilty June 23 to a charge of no passing zones, left of center. Sims was assessed $231.48 in court costs and fines.

Brian A. Wilfong, 31, of Bartow, pleaded no contest June 26 to a charge of improper backing of vehicle. Wilfong was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Paul L. Wilks, III, 33, of Ironton, Ohio, pleaded guilty June 12 to a charge of speeding. Wilks was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Bradley Thomas Armstrong, 27, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 8 to a charge of seat belt violation. Armstrong was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Franklin L. Burgess, 48, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 9 to a charge of no seatbelt. Burgess was assessed a $25 fine.

Dale A. Clark, 65, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 12 to a charge of seat belt violation. Clark was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Tim O. Norgren, 52, of Howell, Michigan, pleaded no contest June 9 to a charge of seat belt violation. Norgren was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Treyson C. Simmons, 20, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 25 to a charge of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate. Simmons was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

In Magistrate Jennifer Dunz’s court:

Anson D. Hatfield, 59, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest July 1 to a charge of failure to yield right of way crossing highway from private road or driveway. Hatfield was assessed $201.48 in court costs and fines.

Michael Lenz, 55, of Yorktown, Virginia, pleaded no contest June 5 to a charge of speeding. Lenz was assessed $206.01 in court costs and fines.

Randall L. Skeweris, 58, of Oakland, Maryland, pleaded guilty July 1 to a charge of possession of controlled substance without valid prescription. Skeweris was assessed $226.46 in court costs and fines.

Shane Douglas Alderman, 29, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty June 3 to a charge of seat belt violation. Alderman was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Tina M. Harrell, 45, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 2 to a charge of seat belt violation. Harrell was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Landon D. Irvine, 19, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 5 to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with window obstructed. Irvine was assessed $195.78 in court costs and fines.

Tyler R. Kriebel, 25, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 1 to a charge of driving while license suspended or revoked. Kriebel was assessed $281.48 in court costs and fines.

Matthew Emery Moore, 23, of Marlinton, entered a guilty plea agreement June 22 to a charge of petit larceny. Moore was placed on 12 months’ unsupervised probation and assessed $181.48 in court costs and fines.

Mary Ellen Pauley, 22, of Marlinton, entered a guilty plea agreement June 22 to a charge of petit larceny. Pauley was placed on 12 months’ unsupervised probation and assessed $181.48 in court costs and fines.

Sarah A. Primonato, 47, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 17 to a charge of seat belt violation. Primanato was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Mary Louise Ryder, 65, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty June 5 to a charge of seat belt violation. Ryder was assessed a $25 fine.

Carla R. Shinaberry, 74, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 5 to a charge of seat belt violation. Shinaberry was assessed $25.56 in court costs and fines.

Tina Marie Turner, 42, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest June 3 to charges of operation without certificate of inspection or failure to produce certificate and possession of controlled substance without valid prescription. Turner was assessed $412.96 in court costs and fines.
