Page Ward Johnson, age 92, entered into rest Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Margaret Dozier Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Florida.
A native of Marlinton, Page had lived in Tallahassee, Florida, since 1966. He served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific during World War II.
He retired with 20 years of service with the United States Federal Bureau of Prisons. He was a member of the American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post #13 and was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva A. and Ethel Virginia Waugh Johnson; and his wife, Anna Bell Johnson.
He is survived by his son, Philip Johnson, and Sandra Kaye Morrow; a daughter, Lois Culler; a granddaughter, April Martin, and husband, Thomas; a great-grandson, Dillon Martin, all of Tallahassee, Florida; and a sister, Jean Mason, and husband, Surge, of Frankfort, Kentucky.
Family will receive friends Saturday, November 21, from noon to 1 p.m. at VanReenen Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery.
