Linda L. McCoy, 75, of Buckeye, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at Alleghany Regional Hospital in Low Moor, Virginia.
Born September 28, 1949, at Peachtree, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Athene Brown Wilfong.
Linda was a retired registered health nurse for the Pocahontas County Health Department.
She was a graduate of Marsh Fork High School and Bluefield State College School of Nursing and was a member of the Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ray Wilfong and William McCoy.
She is survived by her daughter, Janesa Henderson (David); sons, Timothy and Christopher Wilfong; sisters, Sandra Gloshen, Lisa Dalton (Jerry); three grandchildren, Briar Wilfong, Emily Henderson and Kynlee Wilfong.
Funeral service was held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Marvin Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor John Paul Burks officiating.
Burial was in Ruckman Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
