According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.
Katie Lynn Barr, 36, of Cass, appeared in court October 28 on charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and no vehicle insurance. Bond was set at $2,000.
In Magistrate Cynthia Broce-Kelley’s court:
Jonathan Douglas Burks, 24, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 23 to a charge of failure to use safety belts. He was assessed a $25 fine.
Austin DeHaven, 18, of Durbin, pleaded guilty October 30 to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. He was placed on a six month deferment plan and assessed $165.25 in court costs and fines.
Edward E. Fotta, 58, of Furnace, Pennsylvania, pleaded guilty October 21 to a charge of failure to use safety belts. He was assessed a $25 fine.
Nicholas J. Jimenez, 23, of Sacramento, California, pleaded no contest October 29 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed $185.25 in court costs and fines.
In Magistrate Carrie Wilfong’s court:
Michael Edwin Gandee, 65, of Scott Depot, pleaded guilty October 27 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed $195.25 in court costs and fines.
James Michael Lester, 33, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty October 23 to a charge of driving while license is suspended/revoked. He was assessed $265.25 in court costs and fines.
