NOTICE OF TRUSTEE’S SALE is hereby given pursuant to and by virtue of the authority vested in the Trustee, Pill & Pill, PLLC, by that certain Deed of Trust dated July 30, 2021, executed by the Borrower, Joshua A. Hoffmann, to Pill & Pill, PLLC, the Trustee, of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Pocahontas County, West Virginia, in Book 400, at Page 413. Tract No. II: Being a strip land approximately 345 feet long and 12 to 16 feet wide and bounded on the north by the lands of John G. TERMS OF SALE:
1) The property will be conveyed in an “AS IS” physical condition by Deed containing no warranty, express or implied, subject to the Internal Revenue Service right of redemption, all property taxes, prior Deeds, liens, reservations, encumbrances, restrictions, rights-of-ways, easements, covenants, conveyances and conditions of record in the Clerk’s office or affecting the subject property.
2) The Purchaser shall be responsible for the payment of the transfer taxes imposed by the West Virginia Code § 11-22-1.
3) The Beneficiary and/or the Servicer of the Deed of Trust and Note reserve the right to submit a bid for the property at sale.
4). The Trustee reserves the right to continue sale of the subject property from time to time by written or oral proclamation, which continuance shall be in the sole discretion of the Trustee.
5). The Trustee shall be under no duty to cause any existing tenant or person occupying the property to vacate said property, and any personal property and/or belongings remaining at the property after the foreclosure sale will be deemed to constitute ABANDONED PROPERTY AND WILL BE DISPOSED OF ACCORDINGLY.

WOODDELL, JULIE L WHITE and KAREN L BRENDLE, Co-Trustees, or their respective Successors in Trust of the Steven E. The Pocahontas County Commission will receive bids for heating oil for all Courthouse Offices and the Jail Building, for the period covering November 12, 2024, through October 31, 2025.
All bids should be submitted in writing, noting increases and/or reductions in prices, and placed in a sealed envelope marked “Sealed Bid – Heating Oil” and delivered by mail or in person to the Pocahontas County Commission, 900 Tenth Avenue, Marlinton, West Virginia 24954, no later than 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024.
Bids will be opened in the Office of the County Commission located in the Pocahontas County Courthouse on Tuesday, the 12th day of November 2024, at 4:45 p.m.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Proposed Amendment to the WV Constitution to be on the November 5, 2024, General Election Ballot.
Title of Amendment: “Amendment No. 1: Protection of persons against medically assisted suicide”
Summary of Purpose: “The purpose of this amendment is to protect West Virginians against medically assisted suicide.”
Full Text of the Amendment: §3-23. Protection against medically assisted suicide. No person, physician, or health care provider in the State of West Virginia shall participate in the practice of medically assisted suicide, euthanasia, or mercy killing of a person.
Nothing in this section prohibits the administration or prescription of medication for the purpose of alleviating pain or discomfort while the patient’s condition follows its natural course; nor does anything in this section prohibit the withholding or withdrawing of life-sustaining treatment, as requested by the patient or the patient’s decision-maker, in accordance with State law.
Further, nothing in this section prevents the State from providing capital punishment.
