Fred Sharp suffered a broken leg while hooking tongs on a log loader on Cheat Mountain Tuesday.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Lock Sharp, a son.
Mrs. J. H. May, of Raywood, with her granddaughters, little Misses Virginia and Marie Dickson, spent the week with her daughter, Mrs. J. H. Vaughan.
BUILDINGS
The Marlinton Electric Company is putting brick and other material on the ground for their large store building on Third Avenue. They have bought an adjoining lot from George Lightner.
George Lightner has bought a lot of Main Street and will move his restaurant building on it. He will veneer it with brick to comply with the ordinance requirements.
J. W. Kirkpatrick is preparing to build a meat shop 16×24 on his lots next door to The Times office. It will be brick veneer, and occupied by W. J. Hiner.
It is reported that Andrew and Harper Thomas have bought the Household building on Main Street, occupied by McCoy’s Grocery.
John T. Nelson has bought E. M. Arbogast’s block of buildings next to C. J. Richardson’s store.
LOBELIA
The Spice Run Lumber Company has starting to log on Bruffeys Creek. I. M. Clutter has taken a big job there and expects to start to work soon.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Townsend, a son.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. J. M. L. Vaughan, a sixth daughter. They now have five sons and six daughters.
