Free blood pressure and glucose checks

The Pocahontas Memorial Hospital Rural Health Clinic is proud to be an active part of the community and provide healthcare to Pocahontas County residents and visitors. The Rural Health Clinic is a family practice offering a full range of health services for all ages – from pediatrics to geriatric care and chronic disease management.

During last summer’s fairs and festivals, RHC staff provided more than 300 free blood pressure and glucose checks.

Staff will continue these free services this year beginning at the Little Levels Heritage Fair this coming Saturday, June 28.

It is not necessary to fast for this glucose check.

Come see us any time between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the grounds of the Pearl S. Buck Birthplace.

We will also be at Pioneer Days on Friday, July 11, in front of C.J. Richardson Hardware in Marlinton.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with one of our healthcare providers, please call the Rural Health Clinic at 304-799-6200.
