Fruit Tree Grafting Workshops March 13 and March 20

Ever want to have your own fruit tree, or be able to take a small cutting from one of your favorites and make another?  Well, join us Thursday, March 13, or 20 at S&S Farm.

The WVU Extension Service is partnering with S&S Farm to bring you an informative hands-on fruit tree grafting workshop.  This workshop will cover proven techniques to asexually reproduce fruit trees using grafting.  The workshops will begin at 4:15 p.m. and the cost is $25 for each person. This will cover the cost of two grafted trees you will get at the end of the workshop.  Participants can bring their own cuttings if they’d like and rootstock will be provided.

S&S Farm is located eight miles east of Marlinton on Rte. 39, (two miles east of Huntersville and one mile west of Minnehaha Springs), the two high tunnels on the farm can be seen from the road.  Space is limited to 15 people per session.
