PRESERV POCA. REV. SamuelHogsett SawmillBrownsCreek

Samuel R. Hogsett owned and operated this portable sawmill on Browns Creek near Huntersville. The teamster is standing at left with his horse team. And as usual, the women and children dressed up and came out for picture taking. I’m guessing that Mr. Hogsett is standing to the left of the smoke stack. Photo Courtesy of Pocahontas Co.
